ST LOUIS ATTRACTIONS
The
Gateway Arch
Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1965, the arch is a wonderful stainless
steel gleaming construction. A museum tucked away underground beneath
the Gateway
Arch in the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial called The Museum
of Westward Expansion houses a great exhibit of Westward Expansion,
and pictures of Indian Chiefs. There is also a shop selling books
and all sorts of souvenirs and a nice fountain in the middle of
the museum.
Forest
Park
Forest Park, site of the 1904 World's Fair, afterward became home
to many St. Louis cultural institutions: Saint Louis Zoo, Saint
Louis Art Museum, & Missouri History Museum. The 1,300 acre
park is used by bikers, golfers, joggers, & picnickers and is
one and one half times the size of New York's Central Park. In the

The Dwight Davis Tennis Center, Triple A Golf & Tennis Club,
Jewel Box Greenhouse, Boathouse, World's Fair Pavilion, Lindell
Pavilion, St Louis Zoo, St Louis Art Museum, St Louis Science Center,
